I was a "of the moment feelings" decorator of my pages till this video. Thank you for explaining this and giving visual assistance to planning that I have been missing. I plan to try the methods you suggested and hope I get a more cohesive look to my journal pages.

Hi Erin, I am new to your channel and have been watching a lot of your videos. I have been sick for the past 8 months and am using craft to help me during me recovery. I'm in Brisbane as well. I would like to start to get into journalling like you. Where would you recommend buying a journal, washi tape and stickers in Brisbane? I'm on the Northside not far from the city. Do you buy most of your things online? Also, I have seen you use what looks like paper, then you tear it and stick it to the journal. What is that paper called? I have never seen anything like that. I only have cardstock and it would be too thick for a journal. Thank you for your advice. I really love what you do. My handwriting at the moment is terrible, so hoping to make a journal like yours with the embellishments. :)

My mother in law gifted me a year of A&O sub boxes for Christmas 2022, so I got the December 2022 box plus the three in this video. I gave a lot of the stuff from the March and June 2023 boxes to my sister, but LOVED the December 2022 and Sept 2023 boxes. I truly disliked the whole June 2023 box. I am not an affirmations or a camp person and so I didn't really want to use any of that, plus I don't care for non-stationery items in such an expensive stationery box (even if I wasn't the one who paid for it). Although I have considered re-upping my subscription, I think it is just more worth my money to purchase the individual items that I know I like and will definitely use. The June 2024 box has realllllyyy made me reconsider the subscription though, I would LOVE to have that composition notebook journal!!

If I remember correctly I got the first 3 subscription boxes when they first came out with the subscription service. As with most subscription boxes there are a few hits and many misses. There have been a few boxes I would have liked since then but not enough to keep the subscription or re sub. I also stocked up on A5 journals when they had one of their really big sales which was also right before the shipping costs went up (increased by a lot as I am in Canada). I haven’t purchased from them since and try to stay away from their social media as to not get fomo. But I wanted to see your opinion and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

How many times a year do you declutter? I work and study full time and find that I don't have the time I want to declutter. But I like watching others do it.

Maybe some of the things that you want to declutter or don't use much, you could use for the mystery notebook?

And if you've ever been through something that hard and came out of it, as most women have, that Butterfly 🦋 symbolizes what you overcame. That's why you're seeing them everywhere. Apart from that, I love this video. Makes me want to declutter my space.

I’ve just come back from travelling and I’m leaving again in a bit, so I have quite a lot of catching up to do in my own reading journal. Loved this theme, new grid spacing guide so good! I prefer horizontal layouts, but that’s because I use my journal for memory keeping, not planning.

I’ve been doing a grid layout for my weekly setups lately - mine are 15 squares both vertically/horizontally and that fits a week nicely in my B5 journal, with a couple space between each box
